I don't agree with it, but Swift has had the most first round buzz of any RB throughout the draft process. Also seeing more reporters mentioning CEH as a sneaky first round pick.

Agreed. Shades of Jamal Lewis, but with homerun speed and catching 40 passes a year. Scary. Fits what they are trying to do perfectly.

I won't be surprised if that's what they do. I have a feeling the Dolphins are going to completely squander this opportunity to build their franchise. Talk is they are working on moving up to 3, not to stop others from taking their QB of choice, but to get ahead of NYG to get the #1 OT on their board....

I think going OT with their first pick would be a great move, but moving up to do it is a total waste. The drop off isn't huge between any of the top 4 OTs, but giving up a 2nd round pick or something to get the top guy would be a big loss.

Miami needs to either take Tua and focus the rest of their draft around helping him, first with OL and next with WRs and defense. OR they need to wait another year on QB, focus on OL and offensive pieces for a QB to step into next year and have a good supporting cast, and then enter the Lawrence and Fields sweepstakes.

What I think they wnd up doing is trading up for an OT, and he turns out to be the wrong one, and then grab a LB and RB with the next 2 picks and then they are stuck being the same old Dolphins they've been since Marino retired.

None, there' so many quality guys, teams will wait until the 2nd

RBs are actually holding out more now, so that 5th year option of using a late 1st on an rb has less appeal
Team 1- 10 team ppr, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flx, 1D, 1K
2022: 1-8
Finishes: 6th, 6th, 1st, 5th, 6th, 9th
QB: Lamar Jackson, Purdy
RB: Bijan, Dobbins, Achane, Charbonnet, Algier, McBride, waiver trash
WR: JSN, QJ, Addison, Dotson, Skyy Moore, Jameson Williams, Hyatt, T Dell, Boutte, Skowronek, Quez Watkins, Greg Dortch, waiver trash
TE: Hockenson, F Monroe, Juwan, Musgrave
D/K: Patriots, Vikings, Saints, Dicker

picks-
2024- 1,1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,5
2025 1,1,1,2,3,4,5

team 2- 12 team SF, .5PPR, .5TE boost, 1QB, 1SF, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
2022: 8-1
Finishes: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd :wall:
QB: Ljax, GenoD Jones, Minshew, Dobbs
RB: CMC, Stevenson, A Jones, Chubb, A Mattison, D cook, Perine, Mckinnon,
WR:Tyreek, Diggs, C Kupp, D Adams, Keenan Allen, Lockett, Gallup, A Lazard, Hodgins
TE: Kelce, LaPorta, Irv Smith,
No picks until 2026 5th rounder lol

The 5th year option has less appeal in general now under the new CBA. It becomes fully guaranteed once it is activated instead of for injury only, and it pays a lot more, almost equal to a franchise tag.

I think it will probably be Swift, at this point. Selfishly, I would love to see Taylor go to the Ravens as some are suggesting, I already have two shares and think this would be his best landing spot long term.

Thinking Swift or maybe Dobbins very late to KC if one goes but if I had to bet I would bet none in round 1. The 5th year option does become pretty attractive late in round 1.

Miami and/or KC are the two I think could pull the trigger.

Taylor to Seattle is my pick for him. Think he will be 4th RB selected personally but it only takes 1 team to love him so who really knows.

Time to lace up your cleats. Miami wants #3 while keeping #5 so they can get Burrow with a godfather offer. If this happens the Dolphins will give up most likely every late pick to get there and if it happens the Phins are unlikely RB suitors, possible until round 3.

Funny, could be worse than Sanders and he went pick 53.

Maybe a nice marinade or some Greek seasoning to spice up them stockings a bit for you because it’s happening.

Your best bet is to cut them into strips and deep fry them, maybe with a garlic aioli.

For your inspiration, I present to you the 1980 classic: "In which Werner Herzog eats his shoe"

He goes the garlic + boiling them route, fyi.

ps. +1 to no RB's drafted tonight...

No rb tonight with a run of 5 - 6 in 2nd round is my guess.

Comparing rb draft capital from different draft classes is meaningless. Far too many variables that have nothing to do with individual rb talent influence each players “draft capital”. If J.Jacobs was in this class (which he obviously isn’t), he’d be the 5th or sixth rb on my list.
