Curious to see where he lands but spots are getting slim. One would think if this activity doesnt produce any news, he probably isnt finding a home until after draft day.

Depends on his asking price right now. It's possible this turns into a bad market to be a FA RB, especially with a very formidable RB class coming in and Gordon coming off a down year.

I guess if you're a team like Miami and you have all this cap space, paying Gordon isn't really awful, but you could still be more cost-efficient by drafting Swift, Dobbins or JT.

I’d like to see MIA use some of their cap space to acquire picks while taking on the Gurley contract.

I think Gordon might end up in BUF. Makes a ton of sense.

I still think Gordon would be a good buy for them over the rookies, because the money/cap space isn't really an issue for them and they can use that pick on another position. Get a proven RB now to be a focal point of the offense and take the hits for a young QB behind a rebuilding line, and then in a few years when they are truly ready to compete you can cut bait and bring in a rookie RB. Then you get that RBs entire rookie contract during what are hopefully your playoff years, and stagger it with the time you have to pay the QB you draft this year.

If Brady heads to Tampa Bay, gotta hope Gordon makes it on to that roster. If not, man the landing spots have all but dried up almost at this point.

So far, Gordon's market seems quiet, possibly non-existent...Jeff Darlington was just on Sportscenter and said that Gordon may have to settle for an RBBC job.

Good thing he turned down that Chargers offer last year for around 10 or 11 million a year.

Looking like a huge mistake by Gordon. Not so sure where is going to go from here.

A week ago, I had him earmarked for the Texans.

Can't see that happening now though.

Personally, if I was a running back who wasn't as talented as Zeke or Saquon, I would be thrilled to receive 10 million dollars per year for my services. That's a lot of food on the table & homes for my family.

But if you put up 1100 yards from scrimmage for 7 mill (even 10) then you look at what Sammy Watkins gets paid for a few hundred yards a season... I can easily see why a RB would want to get paid. They are a very important part of offenses, take a hell of a beating, and get paid the least because you can rotate 2/3 mediocre guys in a good system and still have a legit rushing attack. It's a weird predicament. Maybe the WR market is just inflated?

Rbs are not wrs. The volatility with rbs as they age make them risky. Good rb looking for great money.
