From the sound of it, Mike McCarthy is the favorite to land the Panthers job, though it's hard to determine how good that will be with their QB situation in flux.
Aikman mentioned Norv Turner during the game today.
I want Rivera to go to Dallas or NYG and bring Norv with him, both of those teams have had an awful tendency to misuse/underutilize their superstar RBs the last few years, Rivera/Norv will rectify that.

Roman should get a shot if he wants it, I do agree - but I'm not completely convinced I see it with him from the personality standpoint. I think he's happier when he's designing plays behind the scenes.

What I'd really like to see is the Ravens bust out the chequebook and double his salary. My feeling is that his preference will be to stick around - this couldn't be a better situation for what he wants to design and run, offense wise.

Open job at Cleveland.

But we all knew that was comming.
I hope for sake of Cleveland, that the can land a HC that Won or has been in a SB.

Maybe Mike McCarthy or Ron Rivera.

Now Pat Shurmur is gone aswell.

Will this be a first time where a division fires 3/4 coaches ?

The Redskins needed a respected proven commodity at HC to get them on the right track, that place was a mess. Browns need the same, and the only one out there is Mike McCarty, who they should have hired last year.

Yeah they need someone who can go in and win a few games. No HC is coming into Washington and magically making them a contender.

Actually a good hire. The nightmare scenario was that nobody wants to coach under Dan Snyder and that they'd have to find some first-year HC who just wants an opportunity.

Rivera is a very good leader, will have the Redskins playing hard defensively, and can definitely rebuild the culture, provided that Snyder doesn't undercut him. Plus, they're adding Jack Del Rio as the DC, and they're probably going to get Chase Young. Shaping up as a good offseason so far for the Redskins. Just need a good GM hire.

The Redskins Defense could take a big step forward next year, if they do in fact get Chase Young. Their DL will be quite talented with Young, Montez Sweat, Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen and Ryan Kerrigan; Young could have a similar effect on that DL as Nick Bosa had on the SF DL.

Norman too right? I know he's fallen off and probably isn't the best leader but there is familiarity with Rivera and I think I saw him praising the hire

Nah, he's fallen way off and is likely gone to clear the rest of that contract. They do have a very good CB in Quinton Dunbar though, he was actually the top graded CB in the league according to PFF.
