Feels more like the next Jags coach to me.

Cowboys will want to make a splash.

All I know is that I'm thrilled to see the vote of no confidence in Gettleman/Shurmur in NYC. Please, for the love of god... fire those men...

Especially gettleman he' such a notoriously bad GM he has to have some kinda dirt on the NFL

Shurmer looks in over his head as the lead but I would be happy with him as my OC

I would be shocked if Rivera is a head coach next year. He will probably have to settle for a co-ordinator gig. At least for a bit. Although it would be a Redskins-esque move to throw a ton of money at him.

There have been a lot of mumblings about Marvin Lewis popping up again.

I don't know. I think Rivera could be a HC next year if he wants it. He's a competent HC, who's made a SB and won 3 division titles in Carolina and there's going to be a lot of openings around the league.

I think Dallas looks to make the splash hire with Urban Meyer or Lincoln Riley

Excatly.

The Cowboys need (NFL)experiens IMO, Ron brings that.
Who else could they bring in ? Rex Ryan ?

Mike Tomlin, Sean Payton, BB, Pete Caroll wont go anywhere.

Depends who you ask and what your expectations were/are. They win 10 games every year and go to a good bowl game, which is more than Michigan did consistently in the years before Harbaugh got there. But he hasn't beaten Ohio State, hasn't really come close, and they aren't a National Championship caliber team and program. A lot people thought he would come in and make them a dominant program nearly overnight kind of like Saban going to Alabama, but Michigan is not Alabama. So Harbaugh has been fine, Michigan just had higher (unrealistic) expectations and frustration is starting to mount.

Depends on your point of view, I've got a few friends who are die hard Michigan fans and it seems to me that all that matters to them is beating Ohio State and I don't believe he's done that yet

Freddy Kitchens and Adam Gase need to join the "looking for work" line.

Michigan fans aren't happy since they haven't won a championship, beat OSU or won the Big Ten. However to anyone objectively looking at the situation the programm has been markedly better both in conference and overall since he's shown up. It'll be a mistake to fire him and one that isn't out of the realm of possibilities. If they do he'll probably the mos sought after coaching prospect bar Mcdaniels leaving

I don't think Rivera is a bad coach. He was saddled with playing Kyle Allen at QB all year who has proven to be a mediocre starter at best. And they finally got him a solid WR duo in Moore/Samuel who probably could have made a bit more of an impact with better QB play.

He was at least smart enough to lean on McCaffrey, where other coaches might have been concerned about overworking him due to size.

I think he's the victim of an impatient owner who believes a new coach is the answer to all the teams problems. Perhaps he should worry more about getting good play out of the QB position. I think Ron lands on his feet somewhere. He's proven to be a pretty good coach IMO, and like every year, there should be 5-7 openings when the smoke finally clears in January.
