I don't understand the league's infatuation with having an international team. The travel issue would be hell and owners would have a hard time selling players on signing with their team.

The market here is tapped. The “travel issue” is nonexistent to owners who could not give a damn about anything but money.

I think international expansion is a bargaining chip for the next CBA as much as anything else. I'm sure that the owners would rather extend the regular season rather expand internationally as a way to increase revenues.

I disagree. The NFL's focus and commitment to scheduling multiple London games each season clearly evidences that the NFL wants to tap the London market, and explore whether an actual London-based franchise is viable.

Because I'm already bleep tired of having to set my lineup by Thursday. It's already a pain in the bleep when you do that only to wake up and forget there was a London game on Sunday and it screws your possible decisions because you live on the west coast.

Plenty:

1. It's football.

2. If there's a 9:30 start time for games, then depending on the timezone, you're screwed if you have a player who's a gametime decision.
