Cutting the Cord - How to watch NFL games?

Postby Prison_Mike » Mon Jul 22, 2019 6:23 am

I currently have a basic package with Xfinity that includes my wifi & like 5 local channels; so I usually get 1 game per time slot, sometimes 2
and I usually get any Sunday night game, (but not Monday night since they air on ESPN)

For those like myself who don't have the full NFL Sunday Ticket package, where do you go to stream games?

Anyone use SlingTV? Is there a paid option for ESPN (Monday night games)?

I'm pretty sure that you can watch streams via reddit... That said, if you happen to be in college or know somebody that is, you can get the Sunday Ticket Redzone streaming deal for $100. That's what I've had the last four years or so via gf and then sister who were in college.

I pay for the Core package of Playstation Vue which gives NFL Network, ESPN and some locals etc. Then I add on the sport package for $10 more to get the NFL RedZone. The RedZone is a pretty good fantasy football item to have, and does a pretty good job of replacing the Sunday Ticket when considering the price.

I had DirecTV for like 20 years and always paid for the Sunday Ticket. I finally got tired of the prices and cut it all. There are probably other avenues to get to the NFL RedZone but I do like Playstation Vue also.

When football season is over again I will cut back on the PSV to a cheaper package or move on to another streaming service for cheaper. Another advantage to streaming is the freedom to move around month to month if that is what you desire!
