Boldin to Ravens: Done Deal.

Postby Misfit74 » Fri Mar 05, 2010 4:23 pm

Ravens acquired WR Anquan Boldin and a 2010 fifth-round pick from the Cardinals in exchange for third- and fourth-round picks in this year's draft.

I agree. Now after years of hearing "If only he was on another team, he'd be the #1" lets see if he can pull it off.

Great trade. Now they have open options for their first and second rounders. Imagine if they can get Mason to come back for another year?? They could be really really good.

Now let's watch Boldin's whack hammy flare up during the cold months up in Baltimore. If not, big signing.

I have to say that I'm more interested in how this move affects Doucet and Breaston. Does Doucet step into Boldin's role, keeping Breaston in his familiar WR3 position? Being a Doucet owner on a few teams has my interest piqued. I've never drafted Boldin or owned him on a team.

I'd be more excited about this convo if Warner was still there!

I thought he proved that during his rookie year. The clear issue is his health. If he stays on the field, there's no doubt in my mind he puts up #1 numbers.

I'm in the middle of a huge trade negotiation and I would be getting Boldin and giving up Colston as part of it!
So this news has really excited me!!! I hate to admit that publicly! :D

His rookie year was a long time ago. Either way it'll be fun to see him sizzle or fizzle.

I like it for Flacco a lot too. Boldin runs tight routes, never shies away from the middle and catches every ball he sees. Flacco will love him.

Sure makes me happier in the DLFIII, as I ended up having Fitz + Boldin. This trade helps me I think.
