Who Will Replace Brady

Postby JakeOfSpades » Fri Oct 11, 2019 7:20 pm

Just wondering who your prediction is as to who will replace Brady? Also, when do you predict Brady will retire?

My prediction is Rosen at the end of the 2021 season.

I actually believe Brady when he says he will play til he is 45. As such I think the replacement for Brady is not yet on the Patriots roster - although maybe Jarrett Stidham has a long shot chance.

Actually I'd like to revise my opinion. I think Brady plays 2020 and then retires. Patriots sign free agent Jacoby Brissett. Colts complain and Brissettgate starts.

Brissett is an interesting proposition, but my bet is on Bridgewater becoming Brady's replacement.

Also would like to add that with Brady having his home up for sale currently, I too could see him retiring after this season.

Brissett is under contract through 2020 as an fyi so he wont be a FA until 2021 unless the Colts were to release him this upcoming off-season, which I'd be surprised if they did.
