Just started a rebuild by somehow trading Peyton Manning for a Future 1st round pick and a blockbuster deal trading away Jordy and Forte for Lamar Miller, 3 future 1st round picks, a future 2nd, and a future 3rd.

Would it be wise to trade Knile Davis on a rebuilding team? I Have the following offer for him:

Option 1: 2016 1st Rounder (likely 8-10), 2017 3rd Round, 2018 3rd Round
Option 2: Jerick McKinnon, 2016 2nd Rounder, 2017 3rd Rounder

I'd do either pretty easily . Would prefer to get the 2016 1st.

I would accept either trade, Davis did not look very good and inspire much confidence when he played last year. I like the Mckinnon side, im also very high on him and i think if he was in the draft next year he would prob go somewhere in the middle of the 1st.

As a Knile Davis owner myself, I would be quite pleased with either deal. 1st is better IMO.

Well, I actually ended up getting a 2016 1st Rounder, 2016 2nd Rounder, and 2017 2nd Rounder, so I think I got AMAZING value.

This deal is a easy accept to me, a first for him, hit accept and run. Can you help talk guys into my league into trading me 1st rd picks for him.

Great deal. Whoever wanted Davis is wayyyyyyyy too high on him. I don't think I would have had the balls to ask for more than a single 1st

I basically had two guys in my league bidding against each other. Worked out nicely.

Honestly can't believe I got what I asked for. The guy was a Jamaal Charles, but even then, that's just ridiculous. This rebuild might go a lot faster than i thought.

Who in the world are you playing with in this league? I need to get in on this action! LOL I actually like Knile Davis but the first trade would have been an auto accept for me. The second one wasn't great with AP just reworking his deal to guarantee he'll stay in Minnesota for the next 3 years. McKinnon won't get much playing time over the next few years. Getting a 1st and 2 2nds for Davis is amazing! Actually all of your trades are pretty sick so far.

I agree with this ^^^^^. I also like Knile Davis, I think he is a good quality backup but great value on the trade and on all of those trades.

Yeah all of the trades netted me a ridiculous amount of future draft picks.

What I've found to work in my league is to target the owners that 100% think they can win the championship this year, explain that a future 1st round pick is devalued to me a bit because it will "more than likely" be a late 1st at best due to their team's roster, and hold out until they give in to my demands.

3/3 so far this season.

But I'll mention that I don't think you're very far from being competitive. In a 10 teamer you've got a QB1, RB2, RB3, WR1. WR2, WR3, and TE1. All around the middle of their range. And a decent group of bench RBs that could work out. If you got into the playoffs I wouldn't be shocked. I probably would have done the Jordy/Forte deal too but with those 2 guys you had a solid team to begin with.

I definitely felt like I was in the top-half of teams in the league for this year, but Jordy, Forte, and Manning are all aging and could be at their peak values (with the exception of Manning who, I somehow got a future 1st for). So I figured, cash out now, sustain some level of success for the future instead of falling off in a year or two or selling these players for $.60 on the dollar.

Yea no way I give a 1st and 2 seconds for Davis as a Charles owner. Pretty sick, congrats. I already know what I'm going to do in a trade by just looking at the trade. Some like to give sales pitches, but usually just bs rambling to try and justify how you're getting a great deal when you're not. Congrats it is working in your favor. They new to FF?
