Value of trading P. Manning

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Value of trading P. Manning

Postby Krytellan » Fri Jun 26, 2015 6:43 am

I was thinking of shipping Peyton but don't really know where I should place his value. I drafted him this year (startup) in the 13th round, which says a lot about how my league mates value him. However, there is a guy in my league rolling out Mariotta and Smith as his only 2 QBs and thought I might try to grab either:

Ebron for TE depth after trading Kelce, or
Benjamin or Matthews

Would packaging a couple 2nd rounders with Manning pull either of these guys?

....I thgink you answered your own question when you said that we can see how your league mates value him by getting him in the 13th - the guy your trying to ship him to passed on him at least 12 times, I'm assuming he took booth of those WRs before then so I really can't see the gap being bridged with 2nd's ......maybe Ebron but can't see much more IMHO

.......as and add I think the best move is to wait and offer him to a team that looks like it could make a push mid-season for a rookie that hasn't performed up to expectations

You need to wait a couple weeks, let him put up some big numbers, let other teams start to decide if they're competitors or busts. Then sell.
