AJG vs Rookies

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

AJG vs Rookies

Postby princey98 » Tue Jun 02, 2015 7:45 pm

Team 2 in sig. I was offered Melvin Gordon, Philip Dorsett and Devin Funchess for AJG. I'm torn, because I put a lot of time into rebuilding this team, and this might set me back another year from contending. But with deep starting requirements, it's tough to pass up 3 young talented players. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Stay put. I'm high on Funchess, but would need 2 more 1sts.

I'm high on Melivn. Might be selling a tad low but a year from now it could look a lot different.

I'm pretty high on all of these guys, but odds aren't great that they all become good players, let alone any of them become AJG level. I'm lowest on Funchess. If you could get Gordon, Dorsett and a mid level QB back, then I'd do it since its Superflex and oils feel terrible ever having to start rg3

In order for this to reach AJG's level in just rookies, I would want Gordon plus another top-5 rookie (Gurley, Cooper, White, Parker) plus a mid-late first rookie. Then, in a rebuild, I might be interested.

Remember, rookies are all hype and potential at this stage. Most of these guys, even in the first, are going to be average or worse players.
