Anyone think Huff can jump up in PHI?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Anyone think Huff can jump up in PHI?

Postby Bo Jackson » Sat May 30, 2015 8:47 am

I drafted Huff last year, telling the Jmatt drafter, that he will be begging me for Huff in 2 years. I wasn't serious, only talking smack to hype him up. There are a few pieces being Chips pet from college, and in his few opportunities, he had some big plays. Jmatt is good, Agholor is good, and Huff should be lining up outside starting in PHI's high octane offense. Anyone think he could take the bull by the horns and blow up?

He should get his chance this season, at least. I've got him on 1 team but I'm not expecting much, mainly because I don't like the Eagles QB situation, Bradford can't stay healthy and even though Sanchez did ok last season, he always seems to revert back to his old ways, then you have to figure JMatt will probably get the most targets, then Agholar, Ertz, Murray gets a lot of catches from the backfield, yeah, I'm not expecting much.

I think he will jump R Cooper on the depth chart as the #3 WR. In terms of fantasy production I don't see him as more than a bye week fill-in type of player.

I think he is a decent stash though as WR3 in Philly. An injury to Agholor or Jmat gives Huff the chance for an instant fantasy impact.

This. I think Huff's upside this year is Riley Cooper numbers, though I think there could be more upside there in the long term. Huff was a pretty hot flier before the draft, but the wind was let out of the sails when Agholor was drafted. I'm still holding Huff in a couple leagues, and I may look to get him as a throw in as part of a larger deal or offer some blind bid money for him.
