conley or smelter

i know, it should be conley @ 3.8 right?....
would it be crazy to trade my next year 3rd for a pick in the 4.0 range to grab smelter?

Value wise, no. The future pick you are dealing away usually has to project higher than the pick you're getting now. I personally am not interested in going out of my way to acquire Smelter, but that's just me. Nothing wrong with this deal.

i have a crush on conley and traded back into the draft to get him.
i gave next year's 3rd for smelter.
my roster is below. thanks for your thoughts. i am probably wrong about smelter, but i guess i will take a chance. boldin is getting older and torrey should take the top off, hopefully opening things for smelter (likely next year)

I kinda think Conley could do well too. He's on my list for a middle round pick.
