Gio or Floyd

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gio or Floyd

Postby BuckeyeNation » Sat May 23, 2015 3:40 pm

In a 12 team PPR. Have a very young team for the most part, so it leads me to keeping the WR. On the other hand, Gio is a decent return for Floyd in a full PPR.

My Team.

Gio, if you're worried about longevity he might hang around longer than other RB's due to being a receiving back

I like Gio here. You have enough young guys at WR that can potentially fill in for Floyd.

I have Floyd by a fairly large margin. But I think this is the type of value you will get in trade right now. A season of having horrendous QB play has really hurt his trade value. Understand Gio will be limited to a RB2/Flex play in his situation while Floyd will have a higher upside with lower floor due to QB play. I would hold and hope Palmer is able to play the year. Floyd has been productive with Palmer.

This is what I was thinking too. Gio is pretty effective in PPR without a high volume of touches, which could make for a longer career.

Any other thoughts?

I'm leaning towards keeping Floyd here. Mostly because I think Floyd has a lot more room to improve his value and I have a plethora of RBs that I feel I can piece together and get similar production to what Gio will.
