Opinions on rookie draft picks 1/8, 1/9

I have picks #s 8 and 9 in the rookie draft in my league that is in my sig. I know I'm old at RB and WR but feel really good about Luck and my TE's. So, should I just stay put at #8 & 9 and maybe get 2 out of like Strong, Yeldon, Coleman or try to package those picks and move up. Also, an owner in this league has Brandin Cooks and Kelvin Benjamin on the trading block, would the #8 & 9 be enough for one of those or too much. Thanks for any feedback, just trying to get as much information as possible, thanks.

Both those picks would be an overpayment in my opinion. You can try to offer one of those picks for Cooks or Benjamin straight up, or offer a bit more value from your side.

I think I would try to get one. You have the roster to compete this year outside of WR's. I love Landry especially in PPR, adding Cooks or Kelvin Benjamin to that with Andre as a 3rd WR would be huge

I would try to make a move for a guy like Megatron. Your team looks pretty good except for the lack of a WR1. I am high on Landry in PPR so I think he makes a solid WR2.

Don't think so, but it's worth offering so the owner knows you're interested.

Thanks for the feedback. I might try to package a player with 1/8 and see if he would trade Cooks.

I offered Andre Johnson and 1/9 for Cooks but he quickly rejected that. I ended up going in a different direction and who knows how it will turn out but I traded the 1/8 and 1/9 for the 1/2. I just wanted to make sure to get either Gurley or Amari Cooper so will see how it turns out.

Thanks. This is my 2nd year playing in dynasty leagues after playing redraft leagues,for like 11 years and I really like the dynasty leagues but I'm still learning. Yeah, I think I'll probably go with Cooper over White because he seems like a safer pick, higher floor. The only thing is, the team with the 1/1 has a WR core of Mike Wallace, Steve Smith, Brandon Lafell, Cecil Shorts, Cole Beasley, Doug Baldwin and Eddie Royal,so he might go with Cooper or White.
