Stafford in Superflex

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Stafford in Superflex

Postby joeymags220 » Tue Mar 24, 2015 11:51 am

Hey everyone,

Joined my first superflex, awesome so far. My question is, what's Stafford's worth in picks for this format? How far off the 1.05 is he? Is that enough in this format or too much for a "fair deal"?

In a superflex, Stafford is worth considerably more than the 1.01. So the 1.05 isn't close.

Stafford is arguably worth the 1.05 start up pick in this format, so the 1.05 rookie is miles off.

All depends on whether you think Stafford's production from last year will be the norm going forward. He was considered an elite top 2-4 QB for a few years and has now dropped down to QB4-8 in most places.

Stafford is worth considerably more than the 1.5. AT worst you should look at him as a QB1, so WR1 is likely the only real equivalent you should compare to given the devaluation and uncertainty of RBs. So depending what you value WR1's as, you should use that as a gauge. Also, when doing so, note that finding replacement QBs is a much more challenging task, as the pool is much thinner and teams only trot 1 out, not 3. Be cautious when selling.

For an idea of his worth, I acquired him for the 1.02, 1.12, and Jordan Cameron. I think I got a good deal though so that's still on the light side.

Any ideas on Stafford's worth in a normal 1 QB format? Getting some really low thoughts on his pick value.
