Jeremy Hill for TY

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Jeremy Hill for TY

Postby flashgordon12 » Tue Mar 03, 2015 10:04 pm

Ok for team in sig 1. I know this team is a mess. Just got offered TY for Hill. I'll admit that I'm a Bengals fan and was looking forward to rooting on hill his whole career. But is an offer like this too good to pass up? Thanks

I'd take TY all day here. He's the top receiving option in a great team with a great young QB. He'll be around a long, long time. You have Gio along with Hill so you'll still have a productive back. Gio proved he can be fantasy relevant even with Hill as the lead back.

Rbs are inherently more valuable in non PPR, but I still take Hilton here. Especially with a team that's not ready to compete right away. The young WR is a much safer storage of value IMO.

I would keep Hill in nonPPR. Probably decently fair value but I would prefer other WR's in the Hilton value range
Hilton is a good player and likely true that he is a "safer" storage of value but Hill is the guy to won in CIN nonPPR. Basically means Gio is a pretty lost asset on your roster if you trade Hill as well. You have some guys that could work out but I would rather trade a Forsett for a lesser WR option after we know his landing spot.

Hill has more dynasty value in non ppr IMO plus the colts have some emerging targets to cut into TY's targets.

I'd take TY in a heart beat. Draft the best available RB in your rookie draft.

I'd keep Hill. In non ppr, I don't even think it's that close. Hilton is the WR 1 for the Colts now, but I don't expect that to remain true for the long haul. I'm going to get killed by the anti-Moncrief crowd on here, but Moncrief has more of the measurables you want in a true top WR. I realize smaller WRs have seen increased success recently, but I see that as the exception rather than the rule. If it's not Moncrief, it'll be someone else cutting into Hilton's targets in the future. When you factor in the scarcity of workhorse backs like Hill, I think it tips the scales clearly to the Hill side.
