Ellington for 1.12?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Ellington for 1.12?

Postby orangetiktac » Sat Feb 07, 2015 11:36 pm

I've been offered the 1.12 pick in the rookie draft for Andre Ellington. What would you guys do in general or with the team I've got in my sig? Thanks.

I think I hold onto Ellington. No idea what you might get at 1.12 at this point. Plus based on his ADP, he's higher than who would go at 1.12.

Not an Ellington fan, but I'd hold him for 1.12. I'd probably need 1.5 - 1.8 to move him

Funny. I AM an Ellington fan, yet or valuation of him is very similar.

I was a BIG buyer of Ellington last off-season. I'm not looking to buy more shares of him this off-season, but I'm not looking to sell him low either. Keep in mind that Ellington was a low PPR RB2 his rookie season when he wasn't even incorporated into the game plan at the beginning of the season. No matter what ARI does with his workload this coming season,I think that's Ellington's absolute floor in 2015. I still think he's a solid RB2 with weekly RB1 upside.

most dont want to risk much to get ellington because they think there will rb competition, so ive found it to be more beneficial to package him with a wr for wr upgrade. he still has appeal for alot of us, so there is some value there, most are just looking to buy cheap. i traded ellington and mike wallace for hilton a few weeks ago. dont love the trade because i like ellington, but rb was expendable and im really high on hilton, so i thought it was worth the gamble. you may be able to do something similar if you find a team that is in need of rb and willing to take a shot on ellington.
