Rank These WR's

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rank These WR's

Postby Miah35 » Wed Jan 07, 2015 1:56 pm

I have received offers that include these WR's. How would you rank the below guys in PPR?

Matthews, Gordon, Floyd, Allen, Cooks, Hilton
Entering my 10th Year of Dynasty.

I believe Every Player has Two Values:

1. The Price it would take for you to SELL a Player
2. The Price you would PAY to acquire a Player

YOU create your own market

1. Hilton (this is a clear-cut #1 in my opinion, mainly because of who will be throwing him the ball)
2. Cooks (was killing it before getting hurt, I think Brees still has 3-4 more good year)
3. Matthews (love his skill-set, think Chip will get his QB and Matthews will roll)
4. Gordon (#1 on this list as far as pure talent, #6 as far as risk; he's one dumb mistake away from NEVER suiting up for an NFL team again)
5. Allen (a little bit of a disappointment off his rookie year, but still should be #1 target)
6. Floyd (even if Fitz leaves, I see John Brown taking a bigger role)

This is basically where I'm at too, except I would switch Gordon to 6 and Floyd to 4.

Gordon is tops in talent, but I'm afraid he might be an idiot, and his case looks potentially terminal. I like Floyd for a rebound next season.

Matthews
Cooks
Hilton (i think he will never be a clear #1 WR)
Allen (Could bounce back)
Floyd (Too many disappointment)
Gordon (I'm always scared by off-field issue)

Listen (or don't) to me, I'm so good/average/bad :
Main Dynasty with Friends (a lot of pride involved) 10 Team 2QB-2TE + IDP : 5-3 (2nd 2016, 3rd 2015-2017)
Dynasty 12 Team 2QB-2TE + IDP : 7-1 (2nd 2015, first round PO 2016, 4th 2017)
Dynasty 12 Team Salary Cap and Contract, SFlex + Devy : 5-3 (Rebuild since 2015, still no PO)
Dynasty 12 Team Salary Cap and Contract, SFlex : 6-2 (Winner 2017, 2nd 2016, no PO in 2015)
Dynasty 14 Team, SFlex + IDP : 11-5 (4th 2017, No PO 2016, 2015)
Dynasty 80 Team (5 * 16), SFlex + IDP : 7-9 (New League)
Dynasty 12 Team, 2Sflex + IDP : 4-4 (New League)

I think this might be better answered with tiers.

1. Hilton, Cooks, Matthews

2. Floyd, Allen

3. Gordon

I consider them almost interchangeable within those tiers, coming more down to who you get the best deal on.
