Hopkins for Mason and 1.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hopkins for Mason and 1.01

Postby Edgy68 » Mon Dec 01, 2014 2:39 pm

Trade partner is zeroed in on Hopkins. Is Tre and what will be the 1.01 enough? I might be able to get L. Murray thrown in, but I've tried to sub in other receivers, even Allen, and he won't budge.

Hopkins for Mason is plenty fair. This trade is a ripoff.

Disagree! Hopkins is the only "sure thing" in this deal. Odds are one of Mason or 1.1 washes out much faster and Nuk will just keep pumping out Top-15 seasons for many years.

Not sold on St. Louis to do the right thing. Last year it was Stacy, thia year Mason, who will it be next year?

Hopkins' consistency and longevity means more than Mason/1.1.

I'd absolutely go Hopkins > 1.01 > Mason. How much more valuable is the real question...I think it's a fair deal or slightly in favor of the Mason side, but I really believe Hopkins can be a superstar so I would be very hesitant to move him unless he was a piece in a deal to upgrade to somebody like DT or AJG.

I think Hopkins>1.01 or at the very least equal to it. I'm also pretty high on Mason though. I wouldn't give Mason/1.01 for Hopkins, but If we were talking about a pick in the 1.04-1.06 range with Mason, I'd be tempted.

I know that trade deadlines may be around the corner, but remember that would be buying Hopkins at the absolute worst time. He just went off for 9/238/2. Buying a player after a game like that is usually never a good idea. Obviously Hopkins is going to cost you either way, but there's still better times to try and buy. Just like those that wanted to buy Evans while he was on his 3-4 game tare.

He's after Gio as well and has proposed Gio/Hopkins for Mason, L. Murray, and his 1.01. Even though I am not sold on Gio's usage moving forward, I think that may be a bit much. I would love the pick to pair with my 1.02 to get BPA RB and Mariota (2QB league)

Is that Gio AND Nuk for that trio? Or do you get to choose?

Yeah, I don't understand. If it is Gio & Nuk, then he values L Murray as equal to Gio?

If it either Nuk or Gio for that I think I would lean towards moving Gio for that.
