Jordy Nelson

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Jordy Nelson

Looking to potentially move him for a player like Michael Floyd or Keenan Allen, guys with similar ADPs but a little younger. In a vacuum, good move/bad move? Fair deals?

His value to me rides on staying in GB or does he look to get paid fate taking a team friendly deal before. He could be this years E Decker, posts great numbers, gets the big $$$ but has no top flight qb throwing to him. I think moving him now for a top young wr may be a good idea while his future is uncertain. Good luck.

I think it depends. If you're a contender, give me Jordy. If not, give me Keenan or Floyd

I agree with this here. If given the choice, would you take Keenan or Floyd?

x 4 but I also think that Jordy gets a deal to stay in GB.

I agree, I think he does too.

Given the choice, give me Floyd actually. I'm super high on him

I don't think the Keenan owner would trade him for Jordy as of today

I'm an owner of both jordy and Keenan and it's incredibly close in value. I flip flop everyday on who I value more. Sure, Keenan is 6-7 years younger and put up numbers that is extremely rare for a rookie last year, but jordy is in his prime right now in a pass heavy offense with the best qb in the league throwing him the rock. If you can win a title this year, 100% keep jordy, he's been doing it for years, and much more reliable option for weekly points
Entering Year 4,
10 team 2 qb, 2 rb, 4 Wrs, 1 te, 1 rb/wr/te
QB: Ryan, Cutler Bridgewater,Savage, Cassel
Rbs: Forte, L.Bell, Vereen, Gore, Ball, Khiry robinson, Storm Johnson
Wrs: Demaryius, Jordy, Torrey Smith, Keenan Allen, Allen Robinson Robert Woods, James Jones
TE: Kelce Witten, Walker, Escobar
K: Gostkowski
DEF: Seattle

Maybe not...to be honest my target is Floyd if I move Jordy. Personally I don't know that I'd trade Jordy for Kennan straight up. I saw what Keenan Allen did last year, and I don't think it was a flash in the pan. At the same time, typically we think these guys will significantly increase their numbers moving forward into their prime, but I don't necessarily think that's the case with Allen. I believe if Jordy stays in GB he has several good years left in him. He's only 29, not ancient for a WR. But I like Floyd's upside moving forward. Still trying to decide if I want to make this offer. I can definitely contend this year, and losing Jordy in a deal to acquire Floyd might hurt my chances THIS year. Moving forward not so much in my opinion. I'm built to win now, but am in pretty good shape moving forward as well.

The more I think about this the more I think you would be selling low on Jordy. He was just outside the top 10 last year with AROD out for half the season. I guess it comes down to whether or not you think Jordy get's resigned. For me I have already said it and will say it again, I think he gets a deal done in GB. He is a team player that has already taken a club friendly deal once. I would rather gamble on a proven player getting a contract and being the #1 with one of the best QB's then number 1 with philip rivers and #1 with Carson Palmer and some guy. Just my opinion. I have Jordy and won't be moving him this year. If Jordy is with AROD for the next 3-4 years I will take that production over what you may get with Floyd or Allen IMO.
