I have a trade offered to me and i don't know what to do.

The guy that finished dead last in our 10 team league offered me the following.

2014 - 3rd round pick
2015 - 1st round pick (which is actually my pick back)
for
Chris Johnson & Justin Blackmon

Thoughts!

If his target is CJ0.5K, can you find a way to hold onto Blackmon? Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like the return for Blackmon should be bigger than this unless you've truly given up on him, plus he's great depth for your WR corps.

I'd counter with a 2014 2nd for CJ (I don't think he finds new life in NY)

I don't think it's enough for those players. Folks can bash CJ2K all they want, but he is at least a RB2(14.5 PPG 2013). Blackmon is a beast. Hopefully he attends all of his AA meetings and gets it together. Owners are selling low on him right now, and I get it. But for me I would hold.

I think you do it.

You have 3 RB2/3's left and the pick would give you an opportunity to get value for CJ, that really no one is getting. However, Blackmon on top is too much. At most I would include Nicks and then ask for a 4th or something back in addition.

To me, Vick wins the QB job in NY and this will open up space for CJ2K - esp after Ivory has been used to basically tire out the DF. I can see quite a few garbage time TDs coming for CJ2K this yr. He will be a RB2 at least this yr imo. Blackmon is a beast and when he returns it is possible that he comes back to a much more competitive Jags team - with maybe a bridgwater at QB - which will see him knuckle down a bit more.
If the above happens, and I know its a big if but its a relatively realistic scenario, then the value of the two players you have are way more than has been offered.
Reject that offer. If, in your opinion, these two carry too much of a risk then take 2 1sts for them packaged together as they are at least worth that (Blackmon worth a 1st+ by himself) or take a player + pick deal (must incl a 1st for me).

Awesome. Great value at this point. Now just pray he doesn't pull a career revival. Ha.
