Team A gives Drew Brees. Team A is out of playoff contention for the year and looking to rebuild.
Team B gives Jay Cutler, 2nd ('14), 3rd ('14), and 2nd ('15). Team B is in sole possession of 1st place and looking to make a title run.
Which side do you like? Team A is banking on using a high pick in 2014 at QB as there is plenty of talent coming out at that position, fwiw.
Which side of this Brees trade?

Re: Which side of this Brees trade?
Brees side. Those 2nds and 3rds are throw ins for most trades like this. Cutler isn't close to Brees. Brees is one of the few fantasy QB's that has proven to consistently give you a big advantage every week, for years. We thought the QB1 tier was huge going into this season--it wasn't.

Not close....

Re: Which side of this Brees trade?
I agree with the above post about Brees. If that was a 1st and 2nd with a 1st following year and Cutler I might be a little more likely to take a close look at it, although that is going to be a late 1. In the current deal it is an early 2, late 3 (if snake draft). I would take Brees side in the trade proposed.
