This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I drafted Christine Michael at 1.07 ahead of someone who wanted him pretty bad and even offered to trade up with me to take him. Anyway I've offered him Michael/Rudolph for Cobb/Knile Davis/2014 1st. This other owner has Gronk. 12 Team PPR QB/2-3RB/3-4WR/TE/K/DST My lineup is as follows:

whats your point? are you asking if this is a good offer--No not really at all, you are asking for too much. Maybe Michael/Rudolph for Cobb (if he loves/wants Michael that badly) but you may have to add the first yourself. Cobb is a 2nd round talent in start ups---Rudolph is going much later and Michael is going even later.

No way should you be able to get Cobb for that. No way.

I'd say your best bet is to try to cash in on Charles. Your entire team is between 2-4 years old (startable guys, at least). Charles is the one adult you have. In other words, you're clearly building. If you want Cobb, I'd offer Charles and ask for Cobb+. Maybe something like Charles/Rudolph for Cobb/Gronk?

No where close IMO. I wouldn't give Cobb up alone for what you're offering. To add Davis/2014 1st to Cobb is ridiculously bad .

The I was looking at it was a) since I'm rebuilding I'm not trying to give up multi assets but will for a high end WR. My RB situation is ok but not enough for me to part ways with someone we both have in high regard. I'm in total rebuild mode but I'm now young enough where any deal I do should be for a impact starter. Giving up a RB/TE for simply a WR seems a little steep to me but you may be right. I originally offered Michael/Rudolph for Knile Davis/Cobb/2nd. I believe he took my handcuff to tempt me to move Michael. The draft pick may be asking too much the more that I look at it. Thanks for the feedback. He didn't reject right away and I know he looked at it so he's considering it for sure.

Not anymore. LOL! This guys is notorious for not making deals or only doing deals in his favor. So this is new territory for him.

Ya the 1.07 and Rudolph for Cobb doesn't add up to me. Add a 2014 1st round, and Davis....that's ridiculous!

You didn't really ask a question...but that's a terrible offer. If he accepts it, good for you.

FWIW I offered Ridley for Michael+Mallet and got shot down. It was about the limit of what I'd do as a rookie fever overpay, but I could afford to give up Ridley as a gamble on upside. So in that sense Cobb for Michael+Rudolph is a little similar. If he had come back at me asking a 1st and Knile too I would probably not deal with him for a while, but hey more power to you.

I can understand why YOU'D like/need that deal - I'm sure we all can - the issue is that if you're asking for Cobb (who's getting drafted as a top ten WR in start ups) for Michael, there is no way in hell that their values should be seen as anything like close tbh, and therefore there is no way this dude should accept because the deal would be no use for HIM. To make a trade both teams need to at least believe at the time that they have improved their team and to be perfectly honest I have no idea why anyone would think that he would improve his team this way.
Good luck if you can get it..,,,but don't hold your breath...

Michael is being far over valued - everyone was excited by Turbin last year... Everyone was over valuing Tate... Maybe this guys takes the backfield from Lynch in the next few years, maybe not, we've been waiting on Jstew forever. Cobb has the best Qb in the league, who has shown that he trusts Cobb tremendously. Cobb is also on a team that is dedicated to getting him the ball in all aspects of the offense. Personally I don't see any trade involving Cobb and Michael where Michael is anything more than a throw in. As a Cobb owner I would place very little value on a rookie RB who has yet to play a down in the NFL who's behind a top 5 back in the league, on a team that already has a capable backup.

I am in a good position to respond to this, since (in my main 12 team PPR IDP league) I own Lynch and Cobb and would love to have Michael (our rookie draft has not happened yet). I am really high on him and think he will take over in 2014 or 2015. I am also loaded at WR, besides Cobb (Mega, Marshall, Wayne, Torrey, Gordon, Blackmon). However, there is no way in Hades that I would entertain such an offer. It would be an instant decline, with no counter. This offer would tell me that you have way overvalued Michael and/or just trying to get me to pay through the nose for a coveted rookie - no way. If you just were asking for Cobb, I would still decline but would consider a counter back to you (asking for something additional, like maybe a 2014 1st and a better player than Roudolph). Good luck.
