Help Me Rate & Rank these QB Stashes

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Help Me Rate & Rank these QB Stashes

Postby shady_phenom » Tue Jun 11, 2013 5:26 pm

Hey guys, I could really use some help ranking these guys for the future.

This is a 12 teamer, I already own RGIII, Flacco, Tyler Wilson, and Osweiler but.........

I'm considering dropping Osweiler for one of the following

Ponder
Weeden
Foles
Glennon
Bray
Dysert
Nassib
L. Jones

Would you stand pat with Brock waiting in the wings in Denver, or go with one of the others I have listed?

As usual, thanks in advance for the help...

With RGIII and Flacco, you have enough near term horsepower. Out of your list, I think I would grab Foles and wouldn't be surprised that he is the starting QB this year for PHI. He's a talented stash and is cheap right now.

I wouldn't drop Osweiler for Foles, or really anyone on that list. Unless you think Dysert is the new heir in Denver. If you just didn't like Osweiler, I'd go with Glennon, as we looks closest to taking over a starting gig. Is Barkley available?

Unfortunately, Barkley is rostered...

Glennon and Ponder are the 2 under consideration....

I would go Ponder because I think the better project/longterm guy is Tyler Wilson anyways....

I would go Glennon because of where he was drafted, and the fact that Denver brought in Dysert....

Yeah, Ponder was one of my two possibles, as i said above, I feel Tyler Wilson is the better project over Osweiler and any of the younger guys anyways....

or maybe the 4th QB is a roster spot waste and I should look to some other skill positions?

I like Nassib, but it's a rotten spot for him to land.

No doubt...I had him in the top 5 mix with Geno/Barkley/Wilson/Glennon...Manuel was #6 pre draft for me...but what do we know :D

I'd like to see what Nassib can do a few years from now after sitting behind Eli...hopefully he doesn't waste away...

I think Foles is being pretty overlooked and he's my clear no.1 on your list. I'd drop either Wilson or Osweiler for him.

I think he's being over looked because Barkley was drafted there and he's far more talented than Foles. Who the hell knows what happens in the NFL, but I would guess that after Vick Barkley will be the starter and Foles will be a career backup. Of the guys listed I would pickup Ponder, easily.

thanks for the help fellas...

I ended up dropping Osweiler for Ponder when FCFS Waivers opened up last night...not really anything of major importance, but I feel like i pretty much bomb-proofed my qb position depth wise...

now carrying RGIII, Flacco, Ponder, Tyler Wilson.....

+1

Osweiler is probably my #1 deep dynasty stash at QB. I drafted him last year and will have to sit on him a few more years but I think it will payoff.

I like Osweiler quite a bit. A big guy with a big arm learning from Peyton Manning & John Elway? That's a recipe for success. I really like that's he's so off the radar. I think Dysert is there to backup Osweiler should Manning be out or retire after this season.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
