Jamaal Charles has been offered

Hi guys,

I was offered by the owner, Mr. Jamaal Charles himself as well as a 2nd round draft pick for 2013. But what is being asked from me in return kinda puts me in a state of ....oh let's say "bad touch."

He's asked for David Wilson & Antonio Gates in return. I just was hoping to get some feedback to see what the Fantasy Lords of the Realm think about this one?

Well your team is extremely young and won't compete this year it looks like so losing Gates means nothing, plus he isn't gonna play a full season and Davis could put up similar numbers. I like Charles a lot and he's still pretty young. If this was offered to you I would see if you could get him to bump it up to a 1st. Otherwise I would still do this deal if he doesn't.

Ha ya.. he could have a huge year but only player 13 or 14 games doing it. You should also see if you can move Marshall after a few good games too to keep that youth thing going. Pick up a Locker or Wilson or Luck type as well. Youngest team ever.

I would do it. I don't trust Gates at all. Maybe he'll have a nice year, but he's just as likely to miss time with a foot injury. You have Fred Davis anyhow.

Charles >> Wilson, and has actually proven something in the league. He's 25 and has 500 career carries. I'd go for it!

Ok, I guess I'll be the lone guy who wouldn't make this trade. I like Wilson replacing Bradshaw more than having Charles on my roster. Gates is a non issue for me. The question is would you rather have a high rookie in Wilson or Charles coming off a major knee surgery? Both Wilson & Charles could share time with Bradshaw & Hillis respectiviely. I guess for me, I like Wilson more than Charles so I'd say no. I'm in the minority here but that's what makes the fantasy world go round!

David Wilson looks really good in the preseason and with the amt of foot surgeries Bradshaw has had in his career, I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson got more carries with the share between jc and Hillis. Also, how is your team so bad? You don't have any studs on your team all youth. What was your draft like?

I agree with others above. I would try to work it for a 1st, but this is a good deal for your team as-is.

Yup. We can trade upto, 3 years ahead I think in the league. I've tried for the 1st Round'er but D-Niiiiiiiiiiiied like an unwilling prom date.

Awwww. I was kinda hopin' I was buildin' a good Young Gunners team. haha My team was sitting on some OLD talent, so I began moving for draft picks, so therefore, I am now going to go through the suffering and hair pulling for the next couple years.

My draft went as:
1.1 - Trent Richardson
1.5 - Justin Blackmon
1.6 - David Wilson
1.9 - Ronnie Hillman
3.1 - LaMichael James
4.1 - Brandon Weeden
5.1 - Juron Criner
