Will ashlon Jeffery produce this year?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Will ashlon Jeffery produce this year?

Postby grooner » Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:01 pm

We have a taxi squad in our league for rookies, but once someone is put on the taxi squad at the beginning of the season, you can't use them for the rest of the year. Do people think jeffery will produce any substantial numbers this season? Or will putting him on the taxi squad be a good idea?

I think AJ has legitimate chance to be top fantasy scoring rookie this year. Looking at your WR core, I would def roster him. Marshall will demand doubles and AJ and Cutler seem to have established good connection. Thinking Minnesota with veteran Carter and young Moss. Not saying he's Moss, but he will produce.

I think he will score but I don't think you will kick yourself if you leave him there all year. I don't see him being trusted more than Cruz Nelson Wayne or even Little so you could just leave him and live with it.

Depends on who you have on your taxi squad right now and who is on your active roster.. You have Gannaway and Hightower on your roster there, if one of them was on your active roster then its really easy, drop them completely or move them down and put Jeffrey up.

I would expect to see a high-end TD total from him (especially considering Marshall profligacy in the red-zone) then good yardage totals - sort of similar to Plaxico last year. I could see something like 600 yards and 8-9 TDS - serviceable but not somebody you'd want to depend on week-to-week.

He's not particularly fast and struggles to get off the line and separate.
