Don't I have to accept this?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Don't I have to accept this?

Postby bucsrule » Mon Apr 30, 2012 3:43 pm

i have the 1.3. have been planning on RG3 there. my team is in my sig, showing i need qb help. rb help as well.

i've just been offered, for my 1.3 pick...

Mike Tolbert
1.6, 2.1, 3.5

do you think i'm nuts to even still be wavering? really had my heart on rg3, but must confess i feel dumb not pulling the trigger yet.

i also have the 1.7 and 1.8 so it would be 3 picks in a row.

12 team, ppr, start 2/3 rbs and 3/4 wrs.

Personally I would pass...Tolbert is a FB and RG3 is a stud.

I agree with the others. Tolbert has no value. 3.5 has negligible value. RG3 is worth more than 1.6 and 2.1. That you really need a QB is another reason not to accept.

Ask for a better player than Tolbert and it isn't too bad.

I'm actually curious as to why you think you have to accept that deal? It looks to me that you trading the ability to draft an elite prospect for a fullback the 1.06, 2.01 and a 3rd rounder. Of this pkg what is it that you find appealing?

Abslolutly pass. Once Big 5 choosen (Luck, RG3, T-Rich, Martin, Blackmon), all is random, 2.1 and 3.5 you already don't know who to choose. For a draft expert maybe it's enough, for me it's not. Tolbert is the Panthers John Kuhn at best and Vonta Leach at worst in term of points.

No way you should accept this...

Pass on this deal. Take RG3. Then with your 1.7 or 1.8 should be able to pick up Miller or Pead and/or one of the many WRs out there.

Pass personally, i believe succession picks are over-rated, stick with what you got,

that guy knows Tolbert is a FB and is hoping you dont realize, Newton calls his own # on goal line duties

ask for a better qb, doesnt have to be a ray rice lol just better than a fb

Just as a reference for you here's how the first round of my rookie draft went down last night. I had the 1.08 pick and never would have dreamed that not only would i still have a chance at Luck or RG3 but that i would have to chose which one i wanted. I NEVER saw the draft going this way. So don't be so sure that if you trade down to 1.06 that RG3 will be gone. But i do agree that you need something better than Tolbert to do it.

Richardson
Martin
Blackmon
Floyd
Wright
Wilson
Hill
Luck
Jeffrey
RG3
Fleener
1.12

FYI- it's a 12 team PPR. Standard rosters and scoring. Not sure why Luck and RG3 dropped the way they did.
