Spiller for Marshall?

12 team, ppr league...start 1 QB, 2/3 RB, 3/4 WR, 1/2 TE

I just made this offer but have a feeling he'll want more. Is Spiller + 1.9 for Marshall a fair deal? Too rich? If so, would Spiller + 1.9 for Marshall + 2.12 even it up?

I would trade Spiller/1.09 for Marshall. Marshall is #8 on my wr board.

As a guy who owns Marshall everywhere i play but one league I wouldnt accept that deal. Marshall is a set and forget type player. You pretty much know what your going to get week in and week out where as Spiller still has alot of unanswered questions surrounding him. I'm guessing I will probably be in the minority with my answer though. I have Marshall ranked at no8 in my personal Rankings and that would probably go up if Manning ends up in Miami. If you can land Marshall for a RB that will probably never see a goal line carry in his career and will most likely be a 15 touch per game guy in most weeks and the 1.09 rookie pick, I'd pull the trigger. I like Spiller but I'd rather have the consistency that B-Marsh brings to the table... Especially if its PPR. I'd try to get the 2nd too as a starting point and it could be a possibility given Spillers high perceived value right now but i wouldn't let it stop me from doing a deal.

sometimes it is ok to walk away from table. spiller for marshall prob isnt fair but that does not mean u should add 1.9

Spiller and 1.9 for Marshall is a no go for me. I agree with GoCowboys too... sometimes it's ok to walk away. Marshall could be a top 5 Wr for next 2-3 years. Can't say I'm as high on Spiller as most on this site.

Thanks to whomever moved me to the right forum.

So I ended up offering Spiller & 2.9 for Marshall & Bell (probable Forte handcuff), but he declined. Then he just came back seeing if I'd be willing to trade Spiller & Holmes for Marshall & Bell. This obviously leaves me thin at RB, but I feel comfortable rolling with the duo of AP/Gerhart & Forte, while hoping for Hunter to step up by 2013. I'm still skeptical of Spiller ever becoming a full load back, especially over the next season or two. And I like Marshall a lot more than Holmes moving forward, especially if the Dolphins sign Peyton or Flynn. But is this too rich? Should I ask for something more in return? To better assess, I'm adding his roster.

I may be big time in the minority here but there is no way I am dealing Spiller for Marshall in either of those deal, especially in a PPR. Spiller is going to be a stud. Picture Ray Rice. You can call me crazy all day but thats just my opinion. Marshall year in and year out has been a let down (i know about last season) but overall he's not been where he should be for my liking. Now, if a healthy Manning ends up in Miami then that changes things. Keep in mind I said HEALTHY MANNING, thats not something we will know until a lot closer to the start of the regular season and thats not a gamble I'm willing to take based on the fact we don't even know where he's going to end up.

I like Spiller and loved him coming out of college but he had a good 5-6 games at the end of last year. He has a lot of potential but has to prove this season he is an every down back or at the very least, get the majority of carries including red zone carries!
Marshall is a top 10 WR and if they actually get a QB...he pushes top 5 IMO!!!
