Is a top 3 pick worth it?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is a top 3 pick worth it?

Postby Cojo 2020 » Tue Oct 04, 2022 7:03 pm

I have a trade offer for the team in my sig:

I get a 2023 1st that is probably a top 3-4 pick

I give Sutton, Doubs, Hollywood Brown, and Dillon.

I said that was way too much. It’s still on the table with just the WRs in the deal. That still feels high for me, especially since this will help his team enough to drop the pick to 3 or 4.

Curious about any thoughts here.

Too much. I am lower on Dillon but he still holds value and Sutton + Brown are producing well and hold solid value. Hold here despite the class value. Doubs value could continue to raise also.

Way too much, especially helping him along the way. What if he makes a couple more trades and becomes a contender.

Way too much. And I agree with the other poster saying that this trade would actually hurt that pick. I don’t know what the other teams roster looks like but you would essentially be giving them an entire solid wide receiver core. That will likely produce more wins for them already. Maybe 2 of those guys for a 1st would make sense but not any more than that. Also I would be worried about moving Doubs too fast here as I think his value continues to rise and he looks like Rogers #1.

If you going to give that much WR talent away why not trade it for a stud RB and RB or pick.

If you could that would be nice. i imagine most teams are still thinking they are contenders 4 weeks in though
