Hopkins Trrade

Hi everyone I have been offered a trade for DeAndre Hopkins which I am open to trading but I still want to make sure I am getting value. This is for Team 1 in Sig. The offer is Damien Harris for Hopkins. I like the offer for Harris as I am weak at the RB position but I feel I need more. I would like to counteroffer asking for Harris + 1st round pick (1:10 in 22) but not sure if I can get that anymore but I also am not sure if a second rounder would be enough? They owner has showing interest in T Marshall in a another offer that I did not like but not sure I want to trade Marshall. What would be a good value in return for Hopkins? Any insight would be appreciated.

I think the value is decently fair based on Hopkins age and declining value but Harris is a risky buy based on where he plays and the Patriots seemingly liking Stevenson. The 1st on top would help the value but I think that may be unlikely. Harris could remain the lead back but that seems like a 60/40 split next year. I would shop Hopkins league wide with the mention you are looking for an RB and see what offers come before I accepted this deal. Too much risk with Harris fair or not for me.

I like Harris for 2022 and want out on Hopkins. But I don't like moving Hopkins for an older (25yo) RB in an uncertain situation (NE+Stephenson). You won't get a 1st added and a 2nd doesn't really bridge the gap. I'd rather hold and wait for a better offer.

You need a RB and I'm unsure about DHop's future, but I'd take the deal with your build.

I would prefer to counter with just the pick or a future 1st.

I will be trying to trade hopkins this offseason, but there is no way I would take Harris for him straight up. I would just hold. But, if you can get a first added, then yes. I would take just a first for him at this point also.

I would have a hard time trading a HOF WR for a NE running back, I would definately want more back

Agree... May I suggest that in a situation like this, you ask for the 1st, and offer a 2nd or 3rd rounder back as part of it.

That's too light for Hopkins. He was still producing prior to injury, he's not done.

Harris is meh. As mentioned, he's old for his position and he's in a constant RB carousel in New England. Overall I would hold for a better offer, which you'll likely get in-season when he's producing again. Also, I wouldn't be hung up on Terrace Marshall. His likelihood of hitting after being a ZERO in year one is absolutely minimal. Find a believer (sounds like you already have) and sell IMO

I'd also hold dhop for that price, and like Mike mentioned above I'd be much more likely to sell Marshall for a second or something if I still could.

Thinks for the advice everyone!! I am thinking of counteroffering with a 1st Rd pick otherwise I will just hold for later.
