Chase for picks?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

You're hurting at RB. I would take Gallup and even Renfrow out of the deal and ask for a solid RB1.

If you are looking to move Chase, I think the value is here. I would not fault anyone for holding Chase at almost any cost, but this is solid value for any player.

I still want Chase, but maybe that’s because I don’t see any potentially elite players being available at those picks. You’d be trading a long term stud for depth.

Your WR corps is set for years to come. I would look to move Pittman or Waddle with some picks or one of your RBs for an RB1. But I wouldn't trade the most valuable WR in a dynasty format.

I agree. It's a bird in the hand situation to me. Iagree that on paper the value is there. However, we've seen Chase ball out a a rookie and he's tied to a good young QB that he has great chemistry with. There'll be some good players come out of this 22 class, but these are middling first round picks. Unless you're sold on a couple of players in this range, I'd pass.

I’m guessing the 1.0 is the 1.05? So 1.04-1.07 and renfrow and Gallup? It’s fine having guys that aren’t for sale. Not sure how to justify asking for more than that offer though. I’d have to take it I think on my value principals alone. My belief is that a stud should be able to be bought for 3 1sts, and an Uber stud for 4 1st round picks. 5 buys anyone. This is arguably(I would argue) 5 1st round picks of value.

I love having Chase, but I would agree this is a haul for him. Getting all four picks in the early-middle of the 1st gives you some control. There should be a solid WR or two and maybe a good prospect at RB there. And if you aren’t enamored with the other choices after you get your favorites, you could offer them each for a 2023 1st to push some capital to a better class. Renfrow is a PPR machine and Gallup should be moving to a different team in free agency.

This comes down to your team’s place in the league. If you’re close to competing, I’d lean keeping Chase, as he’ll help you do so for years. If you’re not, this is a good way to improve the value of your team and give you options moving forward.

There’s an old saying: a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. And that bird in hand (chase) is in my opinion worth WAY more than the six in the bush.

I’m keeping chase here and it’s really not even close for me

How short are your benches? As a 1 for 6 deal, it is really Chase + your 5 worst guys for the package. List out which 5 players you are likely to drop and it might change a lot of answers.

Also, I much prefer the Lamb for Gallup, Renfroe, 1.06,1.07,2.05, 2.07 to the Chase trade. But I am super high on Chase and lower on Lamb than most.

This is the way I look at it. I took Chase with pick 1-2. So now I am going to trade him for Renfro Gallup and 3 first round picks. I take that deal and don’t look back. And i will never look at Chase stats ever again.
