SF trade - Higgins or Akers/Jimmy G?

For Team 2 in my sig...should I make this deal? I've been trying to shop Higgins and a few other guys with some interest but wondering if this offer is worth it for Higgins? I feel like he is limited by Chase and having him on my roster already I don't want/need both guys.

Jimmy G will likely get another starting job but his leash will be short

Akers looked good but history is against RBs coming back from achilles. Rams Offense is RB friendly since teams have to sell out vs pass (heck it made Sony look viable)

Higgins is a WR2 at least tied to a top young QB and paired with a top WR to prevent double coverage all the time

I think it leaves you thin at WR even if you dont like having both Bengals WRs. I'd personally would keep Tee or see if you can find another package for him

Id probably look for another option, unless you can get something added to Akers other than Jimmy. Jimmy prob has value in the near term as I think he will find a job somewhere (pittsburg, indy, Carolina, etc) but I don't think he has much long term value.

Jimmys problem has not been that he cant play in the NFL, its been injures. He will get a starting gig, lots of teams will be interested. I think it a good deal for a WR2 to get a starting RB on a team that shys away from RBBC and a starting QB in a SF. I would accept.

I think you come out ahead here in SF as I think Jimbo will start somewhere moving forward. He is a better option then a lot of teams have currently. Akers has looked solid coming back and as long as he does not have a set back, his value will sore in the offseason.

It has? I wouldn't move Higgins for Akers. What are you basing this on? Is there data out there on ADP etc. 2 days after Akers averaged 3.2 YPC to say that, or are you just making assumptions? I couldn't imagine moving a (just turned) 23 year old WR with Higgins pedigree and output tied to an ascending, borderline elite QB for Akers, personally. I really don't pay much attention to FF sites these days, but would be curious if this statement is data driven.

I think it's a fair trade and based on your roster construction, one I would endorse as you are adding players that will be starting options at harder to fill positions.

In 2022? Yes

He's got a couple more years as a starter left in him
