Lamar/Swift for 1.02+

League is a TE/RB premium with points per carry/target

My team lost in the semis this year and I’m looking to use my stockpile of picks to get better at QB and RB this offseason. I was offered LJax/Swift for 1.02,1.05&2023-1(should be late), does this trade make sense for my team? It would still leave me with 1.09,1.14,2.02.

Adding a young, top end talent like Swift is enticing, although I’m a little hesitant to pay for what he could do instead of what he has done. Jackson’s rushing floor makes him a top end option in most leagues, but the point per carry only adds to his scoring potential.

For a 16 team format, I think this is close. The 2023 1st on top is what makes this a bit pricey but I still think you come out ahead. You add an elite QB and a young very valuable RB. Moving two early 1sts seems like it should be enough so if there is a way to get the future 1st out, I think the deal would be much better. With adding Swift and Jackson your team looks pretty solid on paper for a 16 team league.

I would make the trade. I agree the 2023 1st is a tough, but If I am the Swift/Lamar owner I would demand it too.

Thanks for the responses! It’s definitely a bit on the pricier side but I have asked the other owner if 1.02,1.05 and a 2023-2 would be enough. If it isn’t I may try and see if I can swap the 1.05 for my 1.09.

Received Jackson, Swift

Still leaves me with 1.09 and two firsts next year.
