under the radar stashes for 2022?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

under the radar stashes for 2022?

Postby Ski mask ready » Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:56 pm

I'm not sure these are mind blowing stashes but I'm def looking to add mooney and freiermuth where I can.
Holywood brown if owner might consider selling cheap.

My long shot is RB evans from TEN. 3rd round pick. Injuries first two seasons have killed his chances but if he comes back healthy. I can see him saving derick henry next year with the amount of wear and tear he has on him. Super late flier for me.

Who you looking for as deep stashes and sleepers?

B. Jordan
McKitty - if Cook retires. He will be the only TE under contract
Hunter Long - long term
Shi Smith/Dazz Newsome - deep stashes with some hope based on depth charts
Mond - still a lot of upside and tools to like
Armstead - looked decent in limited work.

Gus Edwards. No buyers for a 3rd. Halfway thru next season when he’s splitting the work in Balt, he’ll be worth 10x that

Just meant that I don't think he's a great stash unless you're competing. He's not going to gain much value. Granted he's worth nothing right now but if everything falls right, he might be worth a late 2nd to a contender... most likely not though with the '23 class.

I like Antoine Wesley in Arizona. He was solid after Hopkins went down, and Kirk and AJ Green probably won't be around next year.

Freeman was selling like hotcakes for 2’s this year bc of the RB scarcity. Gus is younger, better, and more established in Balt. He should fetch a 2 just as early as he starts producing. I would estimate 2+ if he has a larger role than Dobbins for any length of time.

I haven’t been as active on this forum this year, so maybe there were a lot of posts about people buying/selling Freeman for 2nds. That seems silly to me though, even in my 1/4pt per carry leagues, nobody was paying that for him. I’d think you were lucky to get a 3rd for him. If anyone paid a 2nd, I would suggest you maybe adjust the way you trade for RBs, IMO you’re doing it wrong.
As for stashes, B. Berrios was a guy available in most of my leagues at the end of the fantasy season that I was able to stash. He finished somewhat strong though so maybe he’s already taken. But a FA slot receiver who may have played himself into a decent contract. Paired with the right offense/qb, he could be a discount WR3 or even low end WR2 next year. And that ain’t bad for free.

Someone I haven't seen listed yet is Scottie Phillips, RB, HOU.
