Chark+++ or Lamb

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chark+++ or Lamb

Postby OhSnapItsAnt » Fri Jan 14, 2022 2:46 pm

Just got asked if I’d consider this through a text..

Give Chark,Toney, Penny and. 2023 1st

Get Lamb

I’m kind of thrown off by it.. the 1st seems to be the most valuable to me all the other guys have pretty high ceilings but a lot of concerns..
what do you think? Team 1 in sig
Team 1:
10 team SF, .5 ppr
1-QB 1-SF 3-WR 2-RB 1-TE 1-Flex

WR: Deebo, AJB, Lamb, DJM, Dell, Higgins, Jeudy, E Moore, Michael Wilson, Tutu
TE: Kinkaid, Schultz, Njoku

I prefer Lamb. Penny is a sell high and Chark + Toney just don't seem like great assets to me at all. The four for one trade might seem hefty, but I really don't think it is. Lamb is the premier piece in the deal.

I don't give much value to Penny or Chark at this point. I consider Toney a late 1st who will be boom or bust. All of those injuries this season give the perception be may be closer to bust than boom. The '23 1st is a nice piece. I'm a Lamb guy though. Wish I were able to acquire him in a deal like this.

Go Lamb and don't look back. Sometimes we wear rose colored glasses for the players on our own roster and it almost always leaves us with regret.

If you can figure out a way to get him to actually send it, accept fast.

Agreed. If an actual offer materializes, this is a SMASH accept to me.

And I say that as a Chark fan and someone who thinks he still has a good future in the NFL. It's just that I've downgraded his fantasy peak potential from fringe low-end WR1 to fringe low-end WR2 - at best. And needless to point out, he was far from that in 2021. Basically this deal is a first and a bunch of soft apples for a prize winning pumpkin.
