What to Do With Directionless Playoff Team in Large Half PPR League?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What to Do With Directionless Playoff Team in Large Half PPR League?

Postby colonnaj94 » Thu Jan 13, 2022 7:40 am

Hey everyone. So I have this 32 team half PPR dynasty team that's good enough to sneak into the playoffs but is lacking the depth to make any noise once getting there. What would you guys do to improve the long-term outlook of this team?

32 Team .5 PPR, 2x player Copies (Depth is like a 16-team league)
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX
QB Brady, Lawrence
RB A Ekeler, D Harris, M Gordon, R Stevenson, M Ingram, J McKissic, A Collins
WR D Johnson, C Sutton, E Sanders, Shepard, AJG, R Gage, Anderson
TE Hockenson, Freiermuth

PICKS:
2022: None
2023: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

Thanks

Honestly I think I'd look to rebuild your complete team. You have a top young qb in Trevor, younger rb's (on the same team ) in Harris / Stevenson, decent wr's in DJ and Sutton, but both have BIG ???? at qb moving forward. I'd look to cash out on Ekeler, MGIII, Brady if a contender needs a qb, and even your two young wr's. I'd look to add all 2023 picks, tank next season and come load up in the 2023 draft.

The size of this league makes it a bit more difficult to breakdown but overall, I would be looking to fully rebuild. I would make all of your assets available and see what offers come. This will help gauge where values are league wide and maximize the number of offer that come in. Ekeler may bring in a huge return after a monster season but either way offers will also help to see if it is worth trading anyone or if it's better to hold until 2022 gets started and try to sell for better returns in season. Could be a patience and long term game here.

Could you share the top-2 teams roster? I'm having a hard time figuring out what's good and bad in a 32-team league!
