Hill and AJB Trade

Postby ParLawGod » Thu Dec 02, 2021 9:27 pm

Curious to know all of your thoughts on a trade. I felt pretty good about it yesterday, but today I feel 50/50 about it.

Team A (competing): Gets Hill
Team B (rebuilding, thin at RB): Receives AJB, Henderson, 2022 2nd

Thanks!

Henderson seems a bit risky long term and I prefer Hill to Brown as a competing team for the next handful of years. Hill for me but I can see it both ways if one is a big Henderson fan.

Hendy is probably a rental at best but as long as Akers stays out Henderson is a high end rental. If that team is making a run this year I'm okay with this, but the differential between Hill to his next WR up versus Henderson over the guy who he'd replace will make a huge difference in whether or not I go for this on the AJB/Henderson side.

I don’t think Henderson just disappears when Akers comes back. But he definitely won’t have the backfield to himself either. I don’t mind the move. Could you turn around and trade Henderson and the 2nd to a RB needy contender for a 1st and some kind of prospect? That would make me like the deal much better for a rebuilder.

I don't hate it for a contending team, but I feel like the value is on AJB side mid to long term.

Hill is a tier above AJB so bridge the gap with a solid RB2. Fair trade.
