Jamaal Williams Trade

What do you think I could get for Jamaal Williams from the Swift owner? He is a lock for playoffs. I could also try to ride it out with Williams. I will miss playoffs, but we have a system where consolation bracket determines draft order so you still have to stay competitive to get high draft pick. Thoughts on what to do? My gut says sell for what I can get.

He'll be 27 next season so I'd get out while I can. His late 2nd seems like a reasonable ask given Swift's status. The consolation bracket makes me a little hesitant to sell for a late 3rd.

The consolation bracket is an unfortunate factor here, but I would absolute sell Williams if there is a decent offer out there.

I think I would rather have Williams than a late second in this draft. I don't feel comfortable you would add a better asset.

Ugh, I get the idea of a consolation bracket but that just seems like it punishes the teams that could actually use the better pick. This is why I think points possible is the best was to determine non playoff team draft position.
As to your question, I would absolutely sell Williams to the Swift owner if you can get adequate value. The chances to sell on him may not come around too frequently in the future.
