Dak for Lawrence/late 1st?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Dak for Lawrence/late 1st?

Postby M-Dub » Wed Oct 27, 2021 9:09 pm

Team 2 in sig. 1QB league. Just got a text offer of Lawrence and a late 2022 1st for Dak. Dude is currently in 2nd but only has Winston and Lawrence at QB. I have Hurts and Carr as my other QBs. I’m currently 6-8 and in 9th place, but I wouldn’t say I’m out of it. There’s a glut of teams within two games of each other. 3rd & 4th are 8-6, 5th is 7-7 and 6th-9th are all 6-8. We play double headers every week, so I could still potentially make a playoff run if CMC and CEH come back and produce for me. As long as Hurts is starting in Philly, I don’t think he’s really a downgrade from Dak. I was actually planning to start him this week over Dak. Not sure how much confidence I have in him long term, but that’s where Lawrence comes in.

TL;DR, I have to accept this, right? Is it dumb that I’m hesitant because I’d have to change my team name? (Rhetorical question: of course it is)

The value is fair in a 1 QB league and if you think Lawrence becomes elite, it's a great deal. Prescott is elite and that's big in any format but I think Lawrence has the skills to get there at some point. The late 1st is not super exciting based on next years class, but the value is there.

Thanks as always for the advice. You’re legitimately a machine. Haha. I’m pretty sure I could flip the 1st for Golladay immediately, and WR is my biggest weakness on this team. You like that move?
