Barkley or Javonte Williams

Still seems like this should be Barkley but the Williams hype is big. Has the be Barkley but I would not invest heavily personally so this is a very tricky question for me. I'm not sure I view Williams as a slam dunk though, so heavily may not apply here.

This is still Barkley for me. It’d probably take at least a late 1st to sway me to the Williams side. I don’t own either player anywhere, fwiw.

I struggled to answer this question too. This is also a fair take. I think some may still be in on Barkley while many are out.

I would think either position is legitimate.

Personally, as a Javonte owner, I am not willing to trade him for Barkley straight up. I know that if Barkley plays like he did three seasons ago it would be a mistake to bypass him. I don't think that Barkley is ever returning again for a whole season. I'd rather keep whatever Javonte becomes than put such a huge injury risk on my team.

But I understand the other side. It's not the worst gamble to think Barkley might come back healthy, because the payoff if you're correct is going to be HUGE!

I get the struggle here but this is Barkley by a mile for me. Especially if Javonte is your RB3. Javonte looks good. Be he doesn't look like a game winner to me. Barkley can do that for you any given week. I know Barkely has struggled horribly with injuries but I had no idea that he could be had for that price. Get Barkely and keep Booker on the bench.

I understand wanting out on Barkley. Sold both my shares earlier this year including one deal involving Williams (although Chase was the main piece). I have these two closer now than then but still feel like a little needs to be added to the Williams side.

No one likes injury riddled players. No one. But this has to be Barkley right now. He's done it. Amazingly. He's even done it this year before getting hurt. Javonte never has and the situation in Denver doesn't scream RB nirvana right now. Now - if you're hedging that a guy like ARodgers is the QB next year (doubtful) - then sure, roll the dice. But status quo, it has to be Barkley and I'm not sure it's even all that close.

Barkley for now, but I could very easily see this going Javonte's way a year from now. If I own Saquon I'd be holding until he comes back and has a good game or 2. At that point I'd be trying to get Williams and a mid-late 1st if possible. You'd be surprised what contenders will pay in season if they think they're one piece away.

Guys this has gone too far…as a Williams owner, I’d happily trade him for Barkley. The torn ACL was one thing and that’s worrisome, but this is just a rolled ankle…

What makes this a coin toss for me is the bad teams they play on! Both seem to have injuries and to play from behind!

The actual player debate is 100% preference and a little college background if you watched UNC for example or not. I think Barkley will have a higher ceiling but the floor is IR.
