Buy, Sell, Stay

Postby CreativeName » Wed Oct 27, 2021 5:45 am

Team 1 in Signature. Need advise on how to proceed. I thought my team looked pretty solid, but hasn't panned out that way. I already own 4 1st round picks next year. Should I sell Brady, maybe Carson, Cook, Woods, Hopkins for younger assets and picks? Hold out and hope to get in the playoffs as i already have draft capitol anyways, or use my picks to swing some deals for competing now (i fear it might be too late).

I dont think that is a championship caliber team. You have enough draft capital. I would trade the ageing assets for younger players like Bateman or and include a couple of 2022 1st to do that as well, but the 2022 draft looks like a stinker to me.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Waller, J. Woods, Dulich, Mayer

Team 2: 12 Team SF 1ppr, Start 10
QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins
WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley

It comes down to return with this type of post but short answer, yes I would be making your aging vets available league wide and hoping to retool. Cook, Carson, Woods and Hopkins have all seen value dips but hopefully the right deals can still be found and help jump start a young build.

Currently 4th worst but also close to last playoff spot still. If I happen to get in and Cook Carson are healthy with Brady D Hop. Feel like it can compete if I get in but a toss up.

I don't think that your roster is that far away from competing. You issue is injuries to your players. I'd be looking to move DHop after he has another big game, he's already 29, get something for him now. As far as Brady, your in a 1 qb league and your plenty deep at qb so I'd try and move him asap, look to add 23' draft capital. Once Carson is back I'd see what you can get for him from a rb needy team. Other than that keep your build going.

Posting Brady on the trade block, got an offer of 2 '22 2nds, currently the 2.3 and 2.4 picks. Solid return right?

A team offering two high 22 seconds for Brady, could use a RB. Thoughts on a Counter with Carson to include a 22 3rd and a later 23 1st.

I think you can get more from Brady considering the level that he is playing at right now. Anything outside of the first round for 2022 is useless in my opinion and I don't even care for what's available in the first. Carson is fading but definitely still holds value for a team in need of RB help.
