Javonte Williams for 2 firsts?

It looks like I could get a deal for Javonte Williams for 2 2022 firsts (my own which will probably be late-ish, like 7-10) and another (likely in the 5-9 range) and maybe an auxiliary pick (like a 3rd, but maybe a second). Would you do this? Seems like a good deal for a high upside young back. I'm looking to compete this year, but my team is certain built for competition next year and the following. Just want a gut check. Thanks!

I still think the hype and cost of two 1sts here is too much. Likely the going rate if you want to lock him up though.

I dont see any red flags, it's just hard to say what direction their offense and new staff goes one the staff gets fired this season or in the offseason. The potential is there but the production is not matching the price tag currently. That could change though obviously in the future.

I think I would but I’d also consider trying something like Carter and the late 1st for Javonte. But I don’t consider Carter as anything special for long term. Javonte is going to be a beast

This upcoming draft isn't looking that hot. I'd easily cough up a mid and late 1st for Javonte Williams. He looks the part, catches passes and smells like a future three down workhorse. Also only 21. Yummy.

Agree with this. Mid to late ‘22 firsts should have less value than most years. Give me Javonte here.

It's understandable that you would consider paying this for him, but personally I would pass. Williams looks like a nice solid RB - nothing special. On a really good offense he could be a top-10 RB, but in a mediocre offense I don't see his skillset as one that will overcome bad circumstances to drag his fantasy production to success

The 50/50 split might mean he never sees enough production to warrant the price tag. You might always get mediocre point totals. The idea of him as an alpha is worth more than he is, right now.
