Team 1 in sig. Was offered Curtis Samuel for Khalil Herbert straight up. Am I crazy for wanting to decline and keep Herbert?
I will say, I don't think Herbert is going to surpass Montgomery once he's back, but my RB group is riddled with injuries this season and Herbert gives me the best shot at winning this year.

Samuel will never see your lineup, so despite the potential long term value I can understand holding based on short term team need. Value is on the Samuel side most likely though.

Over Samuel? He's got McLaurin and Cooper at WR, Jacobs, Mixon, Javonte at RB. He's notoriously stingy with his RBs though and has been actively shopping Samuel all preseason. I think this is more of a him trying to move Samuel thing than trying to acquire Herbert.
