last season was the first time I was not in the playoffs in one of my leagues (7 years old) and I earned pick 3.
I was going to rebuild, but I like to win.
this is the team I started with:
Mahomes, Dan Jones
Kamara/Latavius, hunt, Gus, Mack, Josh Kelley
sutton, Kirk/Isabella/AJG, Slayton, Bryan Edwards, Duvernay, Hurd, Gage, Perriman, Scotty Miller, Coulter, JJAW
Hooper/Bryant, Herndon

and this is my team today
Watson, Brady, Dan Jones
Ekeler/Rountree, Carson/collins/penny, Hunt, Mitchell, D'Ernest, CEvans
Chase, Sutton, Cooper, Rondale/Isabella, Schwartz
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper/Bryant, Parham, Reyes

I think I did well. my team is 4-2 (lost a couple RBs last week mid game to injury)

I like the looks of building around Chase, Sutton and Cooper. Hopefully Watson gets back and is elite again. You also have piece to move in the offseason or as the year goes along if you shift your build or focus long term if the season goes off the track. What did you move Mahomes and Kamara for roughly?

Mahomes and Kamara were in the same package.
I got Watson (sadly before the mess), CEH and DKMetcalf and 22 2nd. I gave Mahomes, Kamara and Gage

I should mention that I don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick in 22. but I have all my picks in 23.

I made a trade involving Watson before it all fell apart too, so I feel your pain. What happened to Metcalf? I do not see him on your current roster.

So the rumor mill is saying three team trade with Watson landing in Miami, Tua going to Washington, and maybe an expendable Miami piece like D. Parker headed to Houston because Miami would need to clear some salary to accept Watson. If this happens in the next week Watson could start immediately and I think he’d look pretty productive in Miami. If Watson was available for a cheap trade in my league I’d grab him.

I’m sure Waddle is untouchable now, but Preston, Parker, and Fuller are super interesting so long as they aren’t the piece that moves to Houston!

Metcalf I traded for Akers and Amari Cooper. sadly. but I did use Akers, CEH, Bryan Edwards and Tremble to get Ekeler, Rountree and Gesicki. so I guess all was not lost. and perhaps I gave up on Akers and CEH too soon
