Traded away Kelce, Cook, AB, Patterson

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Traded away Kelce, Cook, AB, Patterson

Postby creeperReaper42 » Thu Oct 21, 2021 4:12 pm

I decided that I didn't have a great shot at winning this year due to poor depth and injuries, and thought that in order to rebuild towards a window 2-3 years out, I'd sell off some assets to a team that's trying to contend now. The trade ended up being

I sent out: Kelce, Cook, Antonio Brown, CPat
They sent back: Jamarr Chase, Elijah Moore, Rondale Moore, 22 1st, 23 1st, 23 2nd

I feel like this ended up being a reasonable deal for both sides. I get a good opportunity to reboot my team, and they get 3 high-end assets. I'm curious if others think it's even, or unbalanced towards one team or the other.

Getting Chase for a rebuild is big but hopefully both of the 1st end up early or this could be a bit light. Both Moores have upside and hope but are both complete unknowns.

I like it in a rebuild. Chase is a great piece to build around, and you got some good picks. Kelce and Cook are hard to part with, but overall I think you did well.

Agree here. Unless the picks end up early, this is light for me.

Feel like it’s a tiny bit light, but getting Chase is absolutely great!

I love this trade but will admit I'm a huge fan of Rondale Moore. Getting Chase is a solid move. I don't see a ton of value in AB and CPat beyond this year but I've been wrong before on veterans and their "cliffs".
