Kamara <> Watson, Dobbins 2022 2nd

Postby DanWillDoIt » Wed Oct 20, 2021 3:22 pm

Hi all,

League format - SF, TEP PPR [12 teams QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/SFLEX/FLEX - then defensive players]

Situation = Currently top of my division somehow, despite scoring lowest in PP overall! I also have the strongest team out of the 12 teams in my div (both on 3-3).

Team is:
Tannehill, Goff, Fields
Barkley, Kamara, Sanders, Mckissic
Bateman, OBJ, B.Edwards, Julio, R.Moore, S. Shepard, D. Parker, Juju
Kittle, Kmet, Ertz

I feel my team has underperformed, and I'm potentially just going to fade with my WR's especially this year and injuries to Barkley and Kittle.

Do I take the offer above from a different division contender? Watson coming back with the state of my QBs is tempting...

Your QB room needs help based on the format and if you want to punt the rest of this year, the value is here in SF IF Watson comes back. Watson is still a major if and risk. As with all the Watson deals in SF, it's risk versus reward and which way an owner wants to gamble. Have you shopped Kamara to the league if ou are thinking about moving him? Maybe there is a better/safer deal out there.

Hey Gator, thanks for the response as always.

I haven't pitched him out, although based on the QBs distributed around the league, I don't see how I'm going to be able to swing anybody who has Watson's upside. Obviously JK is going to come back to a crowded backfield and Lamar, but with Barkley and Sanders it could be worthwhile? I guess it's a no brainer, if I can get the owner up to a 1st.

There is a ton of upside in the deal and I see the appeal here in SF if Watson comes back elite, but who knows how that will all play out.

I would still take that in a SF. that is a very low risk Watson bye. even if he never comes back, you don't necessarily lose that trade.
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris
