Kicking tires on Ridley

Postby Ginge11 » Wed Oct 20, 2021 8:21 am

I’ve been in talks with the Ridley owner about acquiring him. I think he still is a decent buy low candidate, although might not have the year everyone expected. He’s still only 26 years old and should be a primary target on the team going forward. Was thinking of offering a Amari Cooper in Damian Harris for him, which I think might be accepted by this particular owner. Curious as to thoughts on that offer. Also, He is interested in my 2022 first round pick as he is currently in last place.

As an owner of Ridley in both my dynasty leagues, I'd have a hard time moving him for that package. I'm also pretty high on Ridley longterm as he is a GREAT route runner, and the unquestioned alpha among Atlanta's WRs. You'd definitely have to add a 1st round pick to the deal for me to at least consider it.

I think getting Ridley for Cooper and a 2022 1st would be a good deal for you. Cooper is becoming the WR2 in Dallas, as Lamb is the WR to own on that WR core right now.

I'm very high on Ridley and still view him as an elite WR despite his somewhat slow start. He is in a tough situation with a bad offense and QB play, but I think he gets going coming out of the bye week. As a Ridley owner as well, the Cooper + Harris offer would not interest me. I think this is a bad time to move Ridley but I also think your offer is worth putting out there in case the Ridley owner is panicking.
