Waller Trade

Last night I sent out an offer of drake, a third pick and some FAAB for Gesicki, trade talks have been going on lazily for a couple weeks now. I woke up to an offer of Fournette and my projected mid first next year (acquired via trade, middle of the road team). This seems like a bit of a no brainer but this guy is a raider fan and owns pretty much all raiders so I don’t do a whole lot of research on raiders. Does this turmoil in Vegas cause problems long term for raider players? My thinking is this is a good time to sell high on Lenny and TE is by far my weakest position.

Seems like a good price for a top end TE. I'm not worried about the situation in Vegas hurting Waller. He is their best offensive player.

Later in the day Sunday I got a message from the other owner telling me he thought he had added my 2nd in there but did not.

So I’ve amended the deal to:
Get Waller, 2 3rds
Give: Fournette, early 22 2nd, mid 22 1st

Also side bar, does anyone else deal with owners that send an offer only to pull it later that day, only to resend another less quality offer? Bugs the heck out of me, if you’re going to send a trade be okay with the trade being accepted before you send! Alright rant over thank you.

It's not a great look but I learned a long time ago, a deal is not a deal until it's accepted and processed. You just never know if an owner is going to go through with a deal or not. MY main league is all text which makes it even more tricky at times when a deal is close or "agreed" upon.

Thanks for the advice man, got a deal done this morning. Ended up being:

Get: Waller, early 22 3rd, early 22 3rd
Give: Fournette, 22 mid 1st, 23 late 2nd, and of course $6 FAAB

I feel pretty good about this but my league mates are not a fan of me finally getting an elite TE. Must be doing something right if everyone else hates the deal!
