Struggling- Herbert for 4 1sts plus

I got an offer of my J. Herbert, Z. Moss, & Gesicki for 4 1st picks (2 in 2022 & 2 in 2023), 2022 mid 2nd, & Claypool.

The firsts are mid for one set and late for another. That sounds great I don’t think I can do it. Thoughts?

Really solid value even in SF with getting Claypool too. With none of the 1sts likely to be early, it makes it not as great. I would not fault anyone for taking or holding here. Tough call...

Ugh, that’s crazy tough. My gut says take the picks. My OCD needs to know what other QB options you have and if you are a contender this year or not.

Not a contender. I’m 0-10 and likely 1.1 or 1.2 when looking at standings. I have J. Allen, Newton, & Trask.

Lots of good young WR’s though.

Assuming this is single QB, you are leaving either Herbert’s or Allen’s points on your bench every week. I don’t know if you’re going to get a better offer than that and into one would ever fault you for taking it. If you’d rather get players then picks in return, I’d get it, but I’d personally look to move one of those QBs to improve my roster somewhere else. Maybe decide which QB you would rather have and then if it’s Herbert you could see if they’d switch Allen in Herbert’s place. If you don’t need Claypool, you should view him as another asset for your next trade, or maybe he replaces someone else on your roster and they get traded, either way I like collecting assets however I can whether to use myself or as trade pieces.

Like I said, it’s a tough call, but a fair offer, and I’d look to trade one those WBs away to improve my weekly output, otherwise you’ll have one on your bench forever.

This is awful close. The equivalant of five 1sts for a QB is probably enough to take it. You are getting another QB next year with your pick. Then hopefully you snag a Wilson/Mac Jones type in the middle to late 1st.

Really hard to get rid of Herbert but I think you have to pull the trigger on it. for an 0-10 team this makes alot of sense for the complete overhaul.

A mid plus late 2023 1st is going to look really nice in a couple years. If you could move those 2022 1sts into 2023 then it would look even better. Getting Claypool plus 4 2023 1sts is going to be huge.

Why don't you start by posting your league size, starting requirements, and your roster.

If this is a 10 team SF this is a snap accept. If it's 14+ teams it's probably a snap decline. 12 team I think it really depends on your outlook.

5 1sts???? As a rebuild (at 0-10!!!), you HAVE to take this. Rolling out Allen/Herbert each week is of no benefit if the rest of your team is trash. You cannot turn a team around making a single early pick each year. You need to be aggressive and shock your roster.
